CanadaProvincial Newfoundland Mandatory Office Paper Recycling Program The Mandatory Office Paper Recycling Program is part of the Waste Diversion Regulations put in place by the government of Newfoundland and Labrador under the Environmental Protection Act. Under these regulations, it is mandatory for organizations in certain jurisdictions to recycle their office paper. The purpose of the program is to reduce the amount of material in landfills and help achieve the goals of the province’s Waste Management Strategy.
